Screens of Florida Inc. is locally owned and operated out of our Fletcher Avenue location in Tampa. We are an authorized Phantom Screens distributor, which means you get the manufacturer’s warranty and product line. But the people you call, the people who come measure your patio, and the people who actually do the install? That is us. Same crew, start to finish.

No subcontractors. No 1-800 number that routes you to a different state. If something goes sideways three years from now, you call the same phone number and we come back out.

What We Actually Do

We sell, install, and service retractable screens for homes and businesses across the Tampa Bay area. That includes motorized outdoor living screens for lanais and patios, retractable door screens for single and double entries, oversized systems for those big folding glass walls, retractable window screens that hide in a custom housing, and clear vinyl panels for outdoor spaces that need a bit of weather protection.

Every screen is custom measured and custom built for the opening it goes in. Florida homes are not standard. We have measured doors that were ordered from somewhere overseas, lanais with weird angles, and pool cages that have settled an inch over twenty years. None of it scares us.

Why Local Matters Here

Florida is hard on outdoor products. The humidity, the salt air closer to the coast, the UV that bakes everything from May through September, the surprise afternoon thunderstorms — all of it adds up. A screen company that mostly works in Ohio cannot really tell you which mesh holds up best in Pinellas County or how a coastal install in Clearwater Beach needs to be handled differently than one in Wesley Chapel.

We have been doing this in Tampa Bay long enough to know what fails and why. That informs every recommendation we make. When we tell a customer in Riverview that a particular mesh is going to be the better long-term choice for their pool deck, it is because we have seen the alternative ten years later.

The Warranty Behind the Product

Phantom Screens carries a limited lifetime warranty on the product itself, which is one of the better warranties in the industry. We back that up with our own work on the install. Together that is a pretty solid combination — manufacturer-grade product paired with a local company that is going to be around to honor it.

Every job starts with us coming out and looking at the actual space. Photos and rough dimensions only get you so far. We will measure, talk through what makes sense for how you actually use the space, and give you a real number — no pressure, no high-pressure sales script. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will tell you that too.
