Warranty Coverage
Phantom backs every screen we install with one of the strongest warranties in the business. Here's what that means for you.
A warranty that actually means something
Phantom Screens carries a limited lifetime warranty on the housing, tracks, and components of every retractable screen system we install. The mesh and motors have their own coverage terms, but the bones of the product? Covered for as long as you own the home.
That kind of coverage is rare in this industry. A lot of screen products out there come with a one or two year warranty, and after that you’re on your own. Phantom built their warranty around the idea that a properly made screen should last decades, not seasons.
What’s covered
The aluminum housing and tracks are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Motors on motorized systems carry a five-year warranty. Mesh is covered against manufacturing defects, with separate terms depending on the type of mesh you chose.
Normal wear from years of Florida sun and salt air isn’t a defect, but mesh that fails prematurely or hardware that breaks down under normal use is something Phantom stands behind.
How to make a claim
Call us. That’s it. We handle the warranty process directly with Phantom on your behalf, which means you don’t have to dig up paperwork or navigate a corporate claims department. We come out, look at the issue, and get the parts ordered.
Since we installed it, we know exactly what’s on your house and what serial numbers are tied to your account. That makes the whole process faster than dealing with a company that subcontracted out the original install.
